FOR THE SENSORY SEEKING CHILD

If you are buying a gift for your child or for someone else’s child with autism, consider purchasing an item for their sensory room. Children with autism often have trouble regulating their vestibular systems and therefore, sensory activities are key. Some families even choose to install sensory rooms in their homes to help regulate their children’s sensory systems. These items will be useful whether or not the child had a dedicated sensory space.
